UN Funds Chad Water Project

 

The International Fund for Agricultural Development has granted USD19.5 million for water projects aimed at maximizing Chad’s pastoral resources and provide water access to the country’s nomadic herders. In a Feb. 5 news release, the United Nations agency said Chad’s pastoral resources were “under-used” as the country lacked water infrastructure.
