The European Commission has earmarked 45 million euros (US$59.8 million) for regional economic integration initiatives in the Pacific.

UPDATE, 21 SEPTEMBER 2009:

A representative of the AIDCO of the European Commission stated that commission has reviewed the mid-term strategy and that projects will be approved in early 2010.
