Top USAID Private Sector Partners: A Primer
The U.S. Agency for International Development regularly taps the private sector to deliver assistance abroad. Which companies have received the largest share? Here’s our top 20, based on USAID data.
The proposed project intends to achieve an increased access to and use of local infrastructure and basic urban services, and community development projects by the targeted poor population of Djibouti-Ville and of the five secondary urban centers of Ali Sabieh, Arta, Dikhil, Obok and Tadjourah. It has the following components:
a) Provision of local infrastructure and basic services;
b) Support to community development; and
c) Technical Assistance and project management.
The World Bank estimates the total project cost at US$ 10 million, of which US$ 2.5 million will be financed by the IDA.
