The European Commission (EC) has granted € 1.4 million (USD 2.2 million) to produce a long-term impact on institutional capacity in the management of public resources of Vanuatu. This is part of the country strategy and national indicative program covering the 2008-2013 period.

UPDATE, 18 March 2009: The commission has published a general procurement notice for technical assistance to the national authorizing officer and aid coordination unit.
