The United Nations Children’s Fund has allocated about $447 million for the advancement of women and children’s rights in Ethiopia. This contributes directly to the envisioned outcomes of the 2012-2015 country program of the U.N. Development Assistance Framework, which is, in turn, aligned with the goals of the Ethiopian government’s Growth and Transformation Plan, 2010-2014/2015 (GTP).
