The U.N. International Fund for Agricultural Development will finance an agriculture sector support program in Uganda.

 

UPDATE, 25 May 2009: Pontian Muhwezi told Devex that more information will be available by the end of July 2009.

 

UPDATE, 27 November 2009: Devex learned from Muhwezi that the details and program activities have yet to be defined.

 

UPDATE, 13 August 2010: Muhwezi said that resources for this initiative have been allocated to the World Bank-led Agricultural Technology and Advisory Services project.
