Avian Influenza Control and Human Pandemic Preparedness and Response Project in Georgia

Project Summary

Georgia has received a credit and two grants from the International Development Association (IDA) in the amount of US$ 8.6 million equivalent and a Japanese grant in the amount of US$ 1.4 million equivalent toward the cost of the Avian Influenza Control and Human Pandemic Preparedness and Response Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of these grants to payment under the contract for consulting services: # Revision of National Influenza Preparedness Plan The services include: (i) revision of the National Influenza Preparedness Plan (NIPP), (ii) development of the National Pandemic Influenza Action Plan (NPIAP); and (iii) development of Curriculum and conduction of TOT for national/regional level on implementation of NPIAP. The tasks shall tack mainly human health component.
