General Information

Project Summary

The main objective of the Avian Influenza Control & Human Pandemic Preparedness & Response Project in Georgia is to support the government’s strategy for addressing the HPAI threat. This project will have the following components: Component 1: Support for an animal component; Component 2: Strengthening public health programs and services; and Component 3: Financing for a public awareness and information component. The World Bank (WB) estimates the total project cost at US$ 10.27 million.
