General Information

Project Summary

The services include: 1. Written recommendations on the national metrology strategy, including the action plan for the consolidation of metrology labs (prepared with EU CARDS support); 2. The draft metrology portion of the MSTQ strategy (prepared along the lines identified above), including an inception report identifying the issues that need to be taken into consideration in Albania, proposing an approach and a detailed work plan for addressing these issues; 3. Written inputs for the consideration of the GDMC, experts for accreditation and standardization as well as for the local counterparts and working group; 4. Written inputs outlining the options for tackling the various issues as well as key recommendations based on consultation with the necessary local legal experts, institutions and officials; 5. The final report outlines the specific recommendations for development and further technical assistance based on the key recommendations and providing inputs drawn from the international experience.
