Project Summary

The Government of Albania has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) to implement the BERIS Project. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy (METE) is the ministry responsible for the project implementation and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include "Know-How Transfer to DPM (General Directorate of Metrology)".

The specific objectives is to transfer DPM the necessary know-how in order for DPM staff to establish DPM laboratories in existing premises and in the new building according to the requirements of EURAMET and Meter Convention.
