The U.S. Agency for International Development regularly taps the private sector to deliver assistance abroad. Which companies have received the largest share? Here’s our top 20, based on USAID data.
The Government of Mozambique has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Competitiveness and Private Sector Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services.
The services will include, but not limited to: (i) Examination of the procedures used by the Customs Administration and their capacity to determine decisions on origin, value and tariff classification ; (ii) Review of the legislative and administrative regulations relating to trade obligations and regional integration; (iii) Review of customs procedures for declarations; (iv) impact assessment of continued use of PSI (Pre-Shipment Inspection); (v) recommendations for One Stop Border Post; (vi) Development of quality methodology and norms at Customs; (vii) Review of Human Resource Management at Customs and (viii) review of institutional IT capacity for trade facilitation.
