The U.S. government has allotted a budget request of $8.5 million for fiscal 2011 to fund democratic governance and conflict mitigation efforts in Uganda. 

 

UPDATE, 08 June 2011: The requests for proposals for the conflict mitigation activity and the governance program are expected to be published in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011.
