Project Summary

The Millennium Challenge Corporation is working with the government of Namibia to develop a new compact that will boast funding worth US$313.5 million over five years. The agency anticipates a final arrangement by the end of summer 2008.

 

UPDATE, 15 August 2008: MCC and Namibia signed a US$304.5 million compact last July 28, 2008

 

UPDATE, 16 February 2010: MCC has published two tenders for the conduct of household surveys.

 

UPDATE, 17 March 2010: MCC has announced a tender for the distribution of textbooks.

 

UPDATE, 18 April 2010: MCC has published a tender for the construction of state veterinary offices in Namibia.

 

UPDATE, 29 April 2010: MCC has published a general procurement notice for goods, works, and consultant and non-consultant services.

 

UPDATE, 18 May 2010: MCC has published a tender for the renovation and construction of schools. 

 

UPDATE, 3 June 2010: MCC has released a tender for quarantine camps in Namibia.

 

UPDATE, 16 June 2010: MCC has published a tender for conservancy development support services.

 

UPDATE, 8 July 2010: MCC has released a tender for the supervision and construction of community skills development centers. 

 

UPDATE, 28 July 2010: MCC has published a tender for the supply and delivery of cattle ear tags. 

 

UPDATE, 25 August 2010: MCC has released a tender for the construction of schools.

 

UPDATE, 29 September 2011: MCC has released a procurement notice for the renovation and construction of seventeen schools in Namibia on 28 September 2011. Bids are due by 9 November 2011. 

 

UPDATE, 25 October 2011: MCC released a procurement notice for the supply of computer equipment for its project in the education sector. Proposals are due by 21 November 2011. 

 

UPDATE, 3 November 2011: MCC has released a general procurement covering the period of November 2011 to April 2012 as well as a specific procurement notice for laboratory kits in relation with its activities in the education sector. Proposals are due by 21 November 2011. 

 

UPDATE, 15 December 2011: MCC has released a procurement notice for supply, testing and installation of water points in the Kavango Region on 14 December 2011. Proposals are due by 31 January 2012. 

 

UPDATE, 19 December 2011: MCC has released a procurement notice for the construction of quarantine camps on 16 December 2011. Proposals are due by 01 February 2012.
