Project Summary

For fiscal 2009, the U.S. Agency for International Development will earmark US$9 million for basic education initiatives in Tanzania.

 

UPDATE, 10 August 2009: USAID has published a grants notice on teacher training.

 

UPDATE, 29 October 2009: USAID Program Officer Thomas Crubaugh confirmed that the mission has already received the fiscal 2009 funding. The actual budget for this program area is US$11 million. 

 

UPDATE, 07 July 2010: USAID has published a request for applications for the basic education program.
