The primary objective of the project is to improve and increase access to electricity in Liberia. This objective is designed to be achieved through the following components:

Component 3: Providing Modern Renewable Energy Services to Off-Grid Users
Component 4: Technical Assistance
The project appraisal is scheduled on 07 October 2010. The Board Approval is expected to take place on 14 December 2010.
The total project cost is estimated at US$ 50 million.
