Project Summary

The U.N. Population Fund has earmarked US$7 million to support gender equity in Bangladesh as part of the country program for 2006-2010.

 

UPDATE, 18 May 2010: UNFPA has published a request for proposal for an HIV prevention program in Bangladesh.

 

UPDATE, 26 May 2010: UNFPA has published a request for proposal for working with transgender organizations on HIV prevention.

 

UPDATE, 16 July 2010: The UNFPA executive board has approved the one-year extension of the country program up to 2011.

 

UPDATE, 23 August 2010: The UNFPA has published a request for proposal for the management of a women support center.
