Top USAID Private Sector Partners: A Primer
The U.S. Agency for International Development regularly taps the private sector to deliver assistance abroad. Which companies have received the largest share? Here’s our top 20, based on USAID data.
The Government of Uzbekistan has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) for FWRMP-I, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for preparation of the proposed Ferghana Valley Water Resources Management Phase-II (FWRMP-II) Project.
The services would be divided in two parts:
(a) to assess the potential impacts of the interventions to be proposed in the FWRMP Phase II Feasibility Study through undertaking: i) an Environmental Assessment, ii) a Social Assessment, and iii) an Environmental and Social Management Plan;
(b) to prepare: i) a Resettlement Policy Framework, which comply with the requirements of the Government of Uzbekistan and of the World Bank covering the proposals to be developed for and set out in the FWRMP Phase II Feasibility Study and ii) a Resettlement Action Plan.
