Project Summary

For fiscal 2011, the U.S. government has set a budget request of $13 million for governance initiatives in Guatemala.

 

UPDATE, 04 February 2011: A request for applications for a cooperative agreement on the security sector reform project is expected to be announced in the second quarter of fiscal 2011. 

 

UPDATE, 20 June 2011: The security sector reform program will now be implemented through a contract and not through a cooperative agreement as previously announced.

 

UPDATE, 02 September 2011: Anticipated advertisement dates for the security sector reform program and the construction of high impact courts were changed.
