Top USAID Private Sector Partners: A Primer
The U.S. Agency for International Development regularly taps the private sector to deliver assistance abroad. Which companies have received the largest share? Here’s our top 20, based on USAID data.
The U.S. Agency for International Development has earmarked an indicative US$12.9 million for justice and governance initiatives in Guatemala. The amount forms part of the budget request for fiscal 2009. About US$8.6 million will go to activities promoting the rule of law and human rights, and US$4.3 million to good governance.
UPDATE, 23 April 2010: A program officer of USAID Guatemala said that the actual funding for governance program for fiscal 2009 amounted to $12.6 million.
