Project Summary

The main objective of the Health Program Sao Bernardo do Campo - Phase I in Brazil is to support the improvement of the health conditions of the SBC population and implement a new municipal health services model that focuses on basic health care.

Component 1:  Development of a new health services model
Component 2: Expansion and strengthening of basic health care

The IDB estimates the total project cost at US$ 36 million.

4 October 2011

 

This operation was approved by the Board in 3 October 2011.

 

1 October 2011

 

The estimated total cost of the project is now US$ 43.2 million. IDB is expected to finance US$ 21.6 million through an Investment Loan.

 

24 January 2011

The project will be implemented by the Municipal Administration of Sao Bernardo do Campo.
