The World Bank is preparing a new US$40 million activity in Congo Brazzaville to help develop the country’s health facilities. This will be a Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp) project allowing the Congolese government to take ownership and implement it once it gained approval.
UPDATE, 25 September 2008: The Congo Health Sector Services Development Project was approved in 29 May 2008 with a total budget of US$40 million. The project is expected to run until 29 May 2012.
UPDATE, 31 October 2011: The Bank released a procurement notice for consultancy services in relation with its health sector development project on 28 October 2011. Expressions of interest are due by 15 November 2011.
