The U.N. Population Fund will allocate US$5.7 million to improve awareness of reproductive health information and HIV/AIDS prevention in Sudan. This is part of the country program for 2009-2012.

 

UPDATE, 20 August 2010: The UNFPA provided institutional and technical support to the Southern Sudan HIV/AIDS Commission and the health ministry-HIV directorate.
