The primary objective of the Infrastructure and Infrastructure Emergency Recovery Project is to support early sustainable recovery efforts in Haiti through selected interventions to restore key institutions and infrastructure.
Component 1: Re-establishment of the Government’s Key Economic and Financial Functions
Component 2: Emergency Rehabilitation of Selected Public Infrastructure
Component 3: Project Management and Institutional Support
The total cost of the project is estimated at US$ 65 million.

The Board approved this financing on 18 March 2010.
This Grant operation will finance emergency rehabilitation works, prefabricated offices, office and IT equipment, tools and equipment to restore minimum direct intervention capacity for MTPTC, and construction materials for rural villages housing reconstruction.
Consulting services with large value include engineering assessments, construction design and supervision, urban plans preparation, training and capacity building, procurement and fiduciary support, and project management.
