Project Summary

The Asian Development Bank plans to support interisland shipping and drainage and sanitation investments in Vanuatu for 2010 to 2012. These form part of the 2010-2014 country partnership strategy with the island nation.

 

UPDATE, 5 April 2011: Board approval is scheduled for 26 May 2011. 

 

UPDATE, 18 October 2011: The Bank released a procurement notice for consultancy services on 18 October 2011. Expressions of interest are due by 16 November 2011. The project itself is scheduled for approval on 30 November 2011. 

 

UPDATE, 23 December 2011: The Bank approved the inter-island shipping support project and the Port Vila urban development project on 30 November 2011 and 13 December 2011, respectively. A procurement notice for the Port Vila urban development project was released on 22 December 2011. Expressions of interest are due by 3 January 2012.
