The Tranche 3 of the MFF - Madhya Pradesh Power Sector Investment Program in India will be used to partially fund further enhancement of the transmission capacity for evacuation of power from existing and planned power stations and substation. This will include the following:
(i) Construction of 1,451.5 circuit-kilometers (cct-km) of 132 kV transmission lines across the state of Madhya Pradesh;
(ii) Construction of ten (10) new 132/33 kV substations, with transformation capacity of 40 MVA each;
(iii) Procurement and installation of ten (10) units of twenty (20) MVA each of additional 132/33 kV transformers, and 3 units of 40 MVA each;
(iv) Augmentation of six (6) units of 132/33 kV transformers from 20 to 40 MVA, and 14 units from 40 to 63 MVA; and
(v) Procurement of testing instruments and maintenance equipment.
The total amount for Tranche 3 is estimated at US$197.8 million.
