Project Summary

The Asian Development Bank will allocate US$300 million to support a comprehensive energy efficiency sector development program in Pakistan.

UPDATE, 20 February 2009: The bank has already released a project information document for this initiative.

 

UPDATE, 17 June 2011: The Bank approved the project on 17 September 2009. A second phase is under discussion and is tentatively scheduled for approval in 2012. 

 

UPDATE, 30 September 2011: The Bank released a procurement notice for the supply of compact flourescent lamps on 29 September 2011. Bids are due on 4 November 2011.
