The objective of the project is to improve the operability and efficiency of some of the water treatment plant to the national grid, through improvements and rehabilitation of production systems, operational automation, laboratory, and pumping systems, including training and operational manuals, maintaining SAP coverage and the additional demands.
The total cost of the project is estimated at US$ 125 million.

The estimated total cost of the project is now US$ 142 million. IDB is expected to finance US$ 100 million through an Investment Loan.
