Project Summary

As part of the Country Programme for 2008-2012, the United Nations Population Fund has allotted $27 million to support reproductive health initiatives in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). UPDATE, 12 November 2008: According to Assistant Representative Ngoy Kishimba, the U.N. Population Fund has suspended reproductive health activities in North Kivu due to ongoing conflict in the eastern part of the country.

 

UPDATE, 13 March 2009: The UNFPA has published a procurement notice for reproductive health commodities.

 

UPDATE, 18 June 2010: The UNFPA has published a procurement notice for the development of a mobile clinic.
