Rural Competitiveness Initiatives in Poland

Project Summary

The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) has given EUR 5.4 billion (US$ 8.5 billion) to improve the competitiveness of the agricultural and forestry sector, as part of the Rural Development Plan for 2007-2013 in Poland. In addition to the EAFRD grant, the Polish government will contribute EUR 1.8 billion (US$ 2.8 billion) for activities under this plan.
