This project represents the subprogram component of the Rural Finance Sector Development Cluster Program in Nepal. This project intends to support the facilitation of institutional reform and restructuring of key rural finance institutions (RFIs) and improving sector capacity and governance in order to support the Government’s efforts in implementing reforms in the rural finance sector.
The grant components include:
Component 1: Restructuring of Rural Finance Institutions
Component 2: Establishment of a Supportive Legal and Regulatory Framework
Component 3: Sector Capacity Building
Component 4: Product and Process Innovations
Component 5: Project Management
The total amount for the subprogram is estimated at US$ 11.47 million.
