The objective of the project is to support the sanitation of Guaire River, through the work of collecting, handling and separation of the sewage and the construction of canals for the treatment of wastewater, including relocation of services, improved intervention and preparation areas of marginal areas for later use.
The total cost of the project is estimated at US$ 350 million.

The estimated total cost of the project is now US$ 370 million. IDB is expected to finance US$ 300 million through an Investment Loan.
