The U.S. Agency for International Development regularly taps the private sector to deliver assistance abroad. Which companies have received the largest share? Here’s our top 20, based on USAID data.
The project intends to improve local connectivity for selected secondary and local roads; and enhance the institutional capacity of the Roads Department and local governments on effective and sustainable road network management.
The project shall be comprised of the following components:
Component 1: Improvement of Secondary and Local Roads
Component 2: Capacity Building and Advisory Services
The appraisal authorization is scheduled on 9 January 2012. The project is expected to go to the Board for approval on 8 March 2012.
The total project cost is estimated at US$50 million.
