Project Summary

 

The major objective of the Secondary Education Project is to assist the Government of India in implementing the RMSA and improving access, quality, equity, and management of secondary education.

The project is scheduled for appraisal on 10 August 2010.  The Board approval is expected to take place on 23 November 2010.

The estimated total project cost is US$ 4,000 million.

UPDATES:

24 March 2012

The project has been approved by the Board on 22 March 2012.

3 February 2012

The Board Approval has been moved to 14 February 2012. The total project cost is now estimated at US$12,896 million.
