7.   Contract description

The project's general objective is to enable the administration of Serbia to take an active and effective role in the preparation of financial co-operation programmes and projects financed by the EU, and in their technical and financial implementation within the framework of the Decentralised Implementation System (DIS).

The consultant will perform a System Audit under International Audit Standards to provide the CAO and the NAO with an opinion on the preparedness of the relevant Structures in Serbia to manage the EU assistance under a decentralised implementation system.
