Top USAID Private Sector Partners: A Primer
The U.S. Agency for International Development regularly taps the private sector to deliver assistance abroad. Which companies have received the largest share? Here’s our top 20, based on USAID data.
The overall objective of this preparatory project would be to contribute to strengthening the rule of law in Jordan by promoting synergies and complementaries of various national and international stakeholders in the justice sector to create the preconditions in mutual commitment to cooperation in reforming the justice sector in the medium and long term.
The expected results would include:
— the strengthening of coordination mechanisms in the justice sector,
— an organisational/institutional audit for the Ministry of Justice and the Judicial Council to define a new structure and updated organigram,
— an estimation of time-frame and additional budgetary resources for the Judicial Council to take over their new responsibilities,
— an updated JUST strategy 2012–2015 for the MoJ, incorporating the new balance of powers between the MoJ and the Judicial Council; and a new Judicial Council strategy for the same period and corresponding strategy implementation plan,
— an updated legal framework further to constitutional reform.
