Project Summary

The European Commission dedicated an indicative EUR98.8 million ($147.2 million) in support of agriculture and rural development in Kenya. This is a focal part of the EC’s 2008-2013 country strategy.

 

UPDATE, 05 March 2010: An EC delegation official told Devex that the programs are still under negotiations with the Kenyan government and no financing agreements have been finalized yet.

 

UPDATE, 23 November 2011: The Commission has published a call for proposals for the Kenya rural development program.
