The European Commission (EC) is putting € 250 million (US$ 387 million) into transport and regional integration initiatives in Ethiopia. This support forms a large part of the commission’s National Indicative Program for 2008-2013.
UPDATE, 29 January 2010: An EC delegation official provided additional information on how the 50 million euros, which was not allotted to budget support, will be used.
