The development objective of the Transport Sector Project is to enhance transport operating efficiency on priority regional trade corridors and link roads.

The project will be comprised of the following components:

Component 1: Civil Works and Works Supervision
Component 2: Modernization and Transformation of Ethiopian Road Authority (ERA)

The total project cost is estimated at US$467 million.
