The Asian Development Bank plans to invest US$20 million to provide better access to safe drinking water and appropriate sanitation systems in Nepal.
UPDATE, 2 April 2009: ADB will scale up its investment for this initiative to US$45 million.
UPDATE, 30 June 2011: The Bank approved the project on 17 September 2009. An invitation to bid was released last 29 June 2011. The project is scheduled to close on 31 March 2016.
