Project Summary

In the country assistance strategy for Zambia, the World Bank has identified the Water Resource Development as one its pipeline operations for 2010.

 

UPDATE, 23 November 2009: The water sector performance improvement project was approved by the board on 16 April 2009.

 

UPDATE, 24 May 2011: While the Water Sector Performance Improvement Project is currently active, the Bank is looking at the possibility of approving the Water Resources Development project. A decision meeting is scheduled on 01 August 2011. 

 

UPDATE, 21 November 2011: The Bank has moved the decision meeting for the Water Resources Development Project on 15 December 2011.
