The Ministry of Information and Communication Infrastructure has applied for financing in the amount of US$ 27,000,000 (twenty-seven million US dollars) equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the West Africa Regional Communication Infrastructure Program (ARCIP)-the Gambia, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project.
