The International Development Correspondent Program brings students and recent graduates of post-graduate programs in International Development or related fields to one of the offices of Devex to do research and write journalistic articles related to practical issues in International Development. The articles are published on our popular websites and provide guidance to thousands of professionals in international development and those hoping to work in the field.

Ingrid serves as a Devex freelancer based in New York City. She worked as a staff writer for Vault.com from 2007 to 2009, helping to write guidebooks, including the "Vault Guide to the Top Government and Nonprofit Employers." Before moving to New York, she was a researcher for National Geographic Traveler magazine in Washington, D.C. Ingrid holds a master's in journalism from the University of Missouri. As the daughter of a U.S. diplomat, she grew up all over the world.

As a freelance journalist and broadcast news producer based in Miami and Washington, Julienne contributes regularly to Devex. Her graduate studies in anthropology and journalism included research on youth development in Latin America and immigration in Spain.

Jody is a Devex international correspondent in Washington, D.C. Previously, he worked as a monitor in South Africa's provincial parliament, as well as a researcher for the Center for Economic and Policy Research and for Glass Lewis & Co. He has studied at Rutgers University, the University of Natal and the University of the West Indies, earning a bachelor's in political science and a master's in international relations.

Antoine joined Devex as a fellow and now serves as our international development correspondent based in Paris. He holds a bachelor's in political science from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Lille and a master's in development administration and planning from the University College in London. Antoine has conducted researche for development projects in Chile, Senegal and Uganda, notably on education, health, local saving systems and housing issues. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish."

Andrew Wainer is a Devex development correspondent based in Los Angeles, California. He has worked as a journalist and social researcher in Latin America and the United States. Andrew's research and journalism has appeared in the Los Angeles Times and the Wall Street Journal, among other publications. He holds a master's in Latin American studies from UCLA and is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
