Description
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Engineering, Public Administration, Business Administration or Social Sciences.
- 15+ years experience in the field of International Project Management OR PhD with 10 - 15 years of experience.
- 15+ years of experience in managing and implementing water supply and hygiene programs in Asia.
- Proven record of successfully managing large teams of both technical and financial professionals in large scale international projects, and flexibility and ability to work in multicultural teams.
- Background in Environmental Health, Behavior Change, and Water and Sanitation Projects highly desirable.
- Experience/skills in implementing sustainable community-based water supply and treatment systems, Point of Use (POU) technologies for household water treatment, and Private Public Partnerships highly desirable.
- Experience in implementing projects in difficult environments highly desirable.
- Exemplary diplomatic and interpersonal skills to ensure internal coherence amongst diverse team members as well as relations with the Government, donor, and the international community.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and Fluent in English.

Contract Details:
- Based in Islamabad, Pakistan
- Contract Length: February to September 2009. The project has a possible no-cost extension for another year.
- Estimated travel: Minimal travel within Pakistan.
