The Proposal Management Unit (PMU) seeks a Senior Proposal Specialist to support the work of the International Line of Business (ILOB). As a member of the PMU, the selected candidate will work with the International Health Division and the International Economic Growth division, performing an array of duties focused on proposals, knowledge management and special initiatives. Responsibilities of the Senior Proposal Specialist include: - Providing support to technical proposal teams including; developing proposal outlines, timelines, calendars and matrices; crafting capabilities statements and management sections; updating past performance reviews; and formatting resumes.
- Providing support to cost proposal teams including: analyzing/formatting cost certifications; gathering cost estimates; verifying references/salary information; and working with departments/legal counsel re cost proposal inputs (e.g., local labor laws, tax requirements, registration).
- Performing a variety of research, writing and analytical tasks in support of ILOB Knowledge Management efforts.
- Participating in new business initiatives and performing research and analysis to support ILOB special projects.
- Formatting proposal inputs prior to submission and ensuring that the final product is error free and of the highest quality.
- Coordinating the final production and delivery of ILOB proposals.
- Facilitating and participating in Business Development training module development and delivery.

- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Proven analytical and research abilities
- Demonstrated strength in graphic design: experience creating, formatting, editing, and proofing business documents for publication/or submission to client
- Advanced computers skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional)
- Attention to detail and experience working under deadlines in a fast paced office environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in teams
- International and foreign language experience preferred
