ME&A is recruiting for candidates for a proposed USAID-funded multi-year local governance project in Guatemala. The project will include components of transparency and accountability, local government, public service management, budgets, resource generation, planning, citizen participation, municipal association advocacy and gender.  Qualifications include: at least 5 years of experience in local governance programs, with emphasis in policy dialogue and reform.  Candidate must have strong leadership skills and experience in managing large teams. Experience in Central America highly desirable.  Experience as a manager of democracy/governance programs required.  Graduate degree in social science or law and proficiency in English and Spanish required.
