to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia
The World Bank is seeking the services of a Senior Public Sector Specialist to assist in providing advisory services to the Indonesia Ministry of Finance, the Planning and Development Agency and the Indonesian Parliament to expedite and strengthen implementation of the evolving budget reform agenda. The Specialist will work as a member of the World Bank team in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Indonesian authorities have commenced a program of public financial management reforms. The extent of these reforms is evolving but includes budget and treasury reforms and improved financial reporting and control.
We are seeking a Senior Public Sector Specialist to be based in Jakarta with the following main responsibilities:
The selected candidate should have a postgraduate degree in Politics, Economics or a related Social Science field, at least 10 years of relevant professional experience and proven expertise in budget reform in a comparative perspective.
This is an extended term contract position for two years based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The position is funded by the Public Financial Management Multi Donor Trust fund with contributions from the EC and the Netherlands.
