Crown Agents USA, Inc. (CA-USA) is seeking Public Procurement Advisors in anticipation of multiple projects to be implemented world-wide.  These projects are designed to improve the efficiency and transparency of public procurement through innovative approaches to technical assistance, advisory services, training and capacity building.

 

Core Qualifications:

 

At least 10 years experience in one or more of the following areas:

 

  • Assessment and analysis of public procurement practices.
  • Procurement reform planning & implementation.
  • Design and implementation of procurement monitoring and evaluation systems.
  • Procurement agency services for goods, works & services.
  • Specifications writing and supplier evaluation.
  • Capacity building of procurement staff in government ministries and stakeholder organizations; implementation of best practices.

 

Key Professional Attributes:

 

  • Ability to lead in formulating and planning project activities.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across cultures.
  • High sense of personal ethics and accountability.
  • An advanced degree in supply chain, logistics, trade, commerce or other relevant field.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
