Job Summary

The Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) is an international partnership administered by the World Bank to help the poor gain sustained access to water supply and sanitation services. WSP is implementing two global projects under implementation in seven countries, Total Sanitation and Sanitation Marketing (TSSM) and Scaling-up Handwashing Behavior (HW). These projects have the primary goal of learning about scaling up and about effective and efficient sanitation and hygiene interventions that improve health. WSP is monitoring this project at the global level using a results-based monitoring approach and seeks the assistance of a MIS specialist. The objective of this short term consultancy is to ensure that the semi-annual global monitoring system accurately and efficiently integrates reports generated by the individual country performance monitoring systems for the two Scaling-Up Projects (Handwashing and, Sanitation). The successful candidate should have at least 7 years MIS experience in multiple countries, demonstrated MIS development and training capabilities, be based in Washington, DC and be available to start immediately.
