EY ATs are also required to have experience and expertise in the development of school policies relevant to effective transitions from home to Pre-K, Pre-K to K and K to Grade 1 and identification of children who have additional educational support needs.

The EY ATs are expected to lead the professional development training programme for the school, as well as take on the role of coaches and mentors to all stakeholders.
