Project Summary

The European Commission has set aside EUR50 million ($79 million) for health and HIV support to Mozambique. This is part of the 2008-2013 Country Strategy and National Indicative Program.

UPDATE, 19 January 2009: The European Development Fund Committee has recently approved 30 million euros for health and HIV/AIDS initiatives. The financing agreement, however, has yet to be signed. A forecast notice will be published soon

UPDATE, 27 January 2009: The EC has released a general procurement notice for the provision of services to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Health in Mozambique.

UPDATE, 30 January 2009: The EC has published a general procurement notice for provision of services for capacity development of the Ministry of Health.
